There are many ways to be part of NASTP, as a volunteer, a participant, or a supporter.
Student volunteers are the heart of NASTP. If you're patient, tech-savvy, and enjoy working with people, join us for one-on-one sessions and group workshops at senior centers across the region. No prior teaching experience required, just a willingness to help.
Are you a senior resident who could use a hand with your phone, tablet, or computer? NASTP volunteers offer friendly, patient, one-on-one instruction covering everything from video calls to staying safe online. There's no such thing as a silly question.
Community members and organizations can help NASTP grow, whether that's spreading the word, connecting us with a local senior center, or supporting future grant and equipment initiatives like our laptop donation program.
NASTP sessions happen at senior centers across North Attleboro, Attleboro, Plainville, Franklin, Seekonk, Sharon, and Mattapoisett. Volunteers work directly with residents on the devices and skills they want to learn, from email and video calls to online safety and beyond. Every session is built around patience, respect, and meeting people where they are.
