About NASTP

Our story, our mission, and the people carrying it forward.

Our Origin Story

NASTP was founded by Bhavi and John, two high school students in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, who saw firsthand how much seniors in their community struggled to keep up with fast-changing technology. What began as informal help sessions grew into a structured volunteer program, and eventually expanded well beyond North Attleboro, reaching seniors in Attleboro, Plainville, Franklin, Seekonk, Sharon, and Mattapoisett.

At its core, NASTP's mission has stayed the same: helping senior citizens build confidence with technology and promoting digital equity in every community we serve.

Meet the Founders

NASTP was founded by two North Attleboro High School students who turned a shared concern for their neighbors into a lasting community program.

Bhavi Mood

Bhavi co-founded NASTP alongside John, driven by a desire to help seniors in his community feel confident using technology. He is now a first-year student at Carnegie Mellon University, studying Information Systems.

John Thomas

John Thomas

John co-founded NASTP alongside Bhavi, helping build the program from informal help sessions into a structured volunteer effort across multiple towns. He is now a first-year student at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, studying Biology and Biotechnology on a Pre-Med track.
